Back in Cebu
I'm back in Cebu with my Palangga. I'm home finally. I've gotten used to the long travel from Dumaguete to Cebu via land trip, or vice versa. Heck, I've traveled for 7 hours from Cagayan de Oro to Davao when I went with Pangga when she went home to her parents last May! Stragely I didn't feel exhausted then. That was my first and only time in Mindanao. I've never imagined before that I'll be able to see Mindanao.
Pangga finally got a place of her own in Dumaguete. It's a modest place. Quite small, in fact. "Doll house," she would call it. My pangga has a petite frame, so the place is just enough for her.
I've been looking for a job in Dumaguete. I applied in the Negros Oriental State University for guidance counselor. I have little chance of getting the position, though, since there are many other applicants besides myself. They also prefer those with a masters degree, or at least have units in a masteral course. I'll also try to apply as a part-time teacher in Foundation University next week when I get back there. I never imagined I would aspire to become a teacher. First of all, it just is not me to teach. I don't have the qualities of a teacher, or I am not inclined to that kind of job. I also don't think I'm ready, that I'm mature enough and knowledgeable enough to teach. But since I'm quite desperate for a job, I'm going to give it a try.
I applied in Sun Star, too. The vacant position was Marketing Executive. That's funny since I finished psychology!
